Purpose

Pearls of Hope was founded in June, 2013, as a resource for young women throughout North Carolina to come together in service and support of the communities of which we represent through educational support, volunteer work and mentorship. We are committed to formulating outreach opportunities for our members to pour into the lives of those around us, encouraging each other and representing our faith and friendships in hopes to motivate and mentor other women in our area to do the same. As of November, 2015, we are proud to be federally recognized as a Nonprofit Organization, under the 501(c)(3)!  With this licensure, we have committed ourselves to supporting and collaborating with local schools and faculty, churches, community centers and other nonprofits to create a community of  giving and serving: providing education for the future and encouragement for the present. Anyone who gives towards our organization will receive the benefit of a tax write off, as recognized by federal regulations. We hope to not only lead as an example for women in our community, but to also impact lives, spread love and encourage people, no matter where they are in their lives.

We are Students, Teachers, Principals, Councilors, Models, Business Owners, Waitresses, Sales Agents, and Event Planners, but most importantly, we are friends! We recognize the importance of educating others and encouraging others to pour into each other for the benefit of all. Our differences make us stronger and add value to our daily lives. Our purpose is to bring other women, from various backgrounds, into community with us as a support for Christian living and a cornerstone in our communities. We pray that this blog and our efforts will allow the love of Jesus to shine brightly through our lives and create opportunities for us to reach out to others who want to experience the hope of Christ for themselves and the beauty that comes from encouragement!
